Enjoying the Morning

Yesterday I found two little daisies growing in our yard. The area used to be a farm field not too long ago, so there are still wild things that grow here. I just thought those two daisies were so cute growing there by themselves. No other flowers or weeds were anywhere to be found. I tried to get a picture of them, but Kate got to them before I could. That's ok though.

I have no idea what possessed me to take this picture, other than I think baby toes are soooo cute, and a daisy adorning them would make them even cuter!

I found the neatest thing online this morning, as I was researching Wisconsin one room school houses. It's a Power Point presentation of what it was like to be a teacher back in the late 1800s and early 1900s in a one room school house, with old photos and everything. I'll see what I can do to get some of that information on here. One of the teachers, Mary D. Bradford, wrote her memoirs, and I'm hoping the library will have it so I can read more about her life and contributions to WI education.

Have a great day everyone!!!!
