It is three days before Christmas, and Devin is in the hospital again. Poor boy can't help it though. Who would choose to vomit as much as he does, then have to go to the hospital for IVs? He does have plenty to look forward to once he's feeling better though. Here at the new American Family Children's Hospital, they have so many nice things for children. Devin likes to take a bath in the giant tub and pretend that he's fighting sea monsters, then he goes to the beauty/barber shop to get his hair cut and spiked (oh he thinks he's such a cool dude when he does that! You should just see him checking himself out in the mirror *Ü*). This time being so close to Christmas, volunteers gave presents to the children. Devin got a Ty Beanie Buddy horse named Lefty, and a Nicktoons plug and play video game. He was so excited! However, it is almost Christmas, and we want to get out of here in time for family fun! The Lord willing, we'll be home on Monday, Christmas Eve day.
As this is my first post in my new blog, I hope to keep it going and keep it interesting. I actually have a lot to say this time, with all that is going on with Kate's adoption, Devin's hospitalizations, Antonio's life in public school (edit...we pulled him out shortly after this post was written), and I'm starting to learn more about my role as a wife and keeper of our home. I hope to share some of my life with all who want to read it.
Until next time, merry Christmas to all, and I pray the upcoming year will bring blessings galore!
Love,
Kristine
