Outside My Window...It is sunny and breezy and in the mid-80s.

I am thinking...about the wonderful phone conversation I had with a friend this afternoon.

I am thankful for...so many things, but right now I am most thankful that Devin's surgery went flawlessly.

From the kitchen...not much today. There are still some yummy brownies left that I can't possibly eat that I'm hoping Frank will finish.

I am wearing...one of my older dresses that I had to mend because it was ripped in a few places. It's too comfortable to throw away.

I am going...to doctor appointments tomorrow for the children, and Kate has another fitting at Lands' End tomorrow.

I am reading...the bible of course, and nothing until I get to the library tomorrow.

I am praying...for so many things every minute of every day. I start off every morning praying for my husband to be safe at work and to have a good day, and that God would bring him safely home to us.

I am hearing...the boys playing Cooking Mama 2 on the Wii.

Around the house...there is cleaning waiting for me to tend to. I am ashamed to admit that I haven't mopped the floors since we moved here. I have spot cleaned though, so that counts a little.

One of my favorite things...is being home with my family. I love them all so much.

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week: Saturday Missy and I are going to a girlfriend reunion of sorts. I can't wait! We'll only plan on staying a couple of hours because we both have things to do at home. The next day I plan on helping Missy start cleaning and packing her house, because the Lord willing, they'll close on their new home on July 31st!! Horray!!!!

I am supposed to be sharing a thought picture too, but it landed on top of the post and I don't know how to get it down here to the bottom. Ugh! It's a picture of my favorite flower, "Bird of Paradise". I first saw them when I went to Hawaii in 1996 and I fell in love with how beautiful they are. They are beautiful and fragrant, just like the Hawaiian islands themselves.
