The boys had their Cardiology appointment today at the hospital. Devin goes every six months because of the hole in his heart, and Antonio goes once every two years, just to make sure everything is ok.
Praise the Lord we had good reports for both boys. Antonio still has his innocent murmur, which may or may not be with him forever. For Devin, the hole in his septal wall has not changed, and his mitral valve regurgitation is still the same too. Mild. So, the doctor gave him the clearance to come only once a year instead of every six months. Yippee!!! They also had EKGs, which was necessary for Devin because Dr. Li, his cyclic vomiting specialist wants to start him on Amitriptyline, to see if that, in combination with Topamax, will decrease the occurence of his episodes.
Today was a super busy day, so I'm going to try and get some sleep. Goodnight!!

Good news on the boys! I hope the elavil helps Devin. Are the drs thinking the cyclic vomiting is a migraine? I know a lady whose dd has those. Elavil helped Mary's headaches alot. It helped her sleeping patterns greatly.
